In addition to this, NIE runs the National Institute of Industrial Education, which offers a technical job-oriented vocational program for SSLC-passed students and the National College of Science, which offers B.Sc degree in Electronics & Computer Science.
NIE has also set up the Water Resources Centre, Centre for Appropriate Rural Technology, Entrepreneurship Cell & Consultancy Centre.
